Another GeekWire Gala, another epic evening with Seattle’s most awesome geeks.
We had so much fun welcoming more than 1,000 of you at the beautiful Museum of History & Industry in Seattle’s South Lake Union neighborhood on Wednesday night for one of our favorite events of the year.
Thanks to everyone in the community who came out for the huge holiday bash, where we ate, drank, networked, and danced the night away.
The #gwgala was so much fun that I didn't have time to tweet about it…. until now, in bed.

As in years past, we enjoyed toasting the top Newsmakers of the Year and adorning them with snazzy black and red GeekWire soccer scarfs.
It was also awesome to see the “Seattle 10” startups debut their giant six-foot by six-foot cocktail napkins that showed off each company’s business concepts.
If you missed out last night or just want to relive the bash, check out the social media chatter here. We’ve also posted photos from the event below, in addition to a short video recap.
