— Salesforce-backed cybersecurity startup Oleria hired Siva Garudayagari as its chief technology officer.
Garudayagari has more than 20 years of enterprise software experience. He worked in various roles at Microsoft, where he helped build the SQL server, incubated multiple Azure platform services, and integrated third-party services onto the cloud.
Garudayagari’s most recent position was at Amazon Web Services, where he monitored and managed the health of the cloud giant’s multi-million machine EC2 fleet.
“Siva is a leader who attracts talented engineers and is committed to creating a psychologically safe environment,” Oleria co-founder Jim Alkove wrote in a blog post.
Oleria, which landed $8 million in March, sells access management software. The platform is designed to continually evaluate and verify the individuals, applications, and assets involved in every digital interaction within an enterprise.
