— Seattle biotech company Adaptive Biotechnologies Corp. disclosed in a SEC filing that Kevin Conroy has stepped down from his position as board member.
Adaptive announced Conroy’s appointment to its board in May 2019 as it was gearing up for its initial public offering. The company said his departure was voluntary and not a result of any disagreement with its operations, policies or practices.
Conroy is the chairman and CEO of Exact Sciences, a publicly traded molecular diagnostics company that focuses on the detection of early-stage cancers. The Madison, Wis.-based firm reported more than $2 billion in revenue last year.
The resignation comes after Adaptive board member Leslie Trigg voluntarily resigned in June.
— David Meininger confirmed to GeekWire he stepped down from his role as CEO of Link Immunotherapeutics, a Seattle-based company that focuses on developing new immuno-oncology drugs. He is the founder and CEO of a new startup but declined to share additional details.
— Seattle biotech company TwinStrand Biosciences named Ron Andrews as permanent CEO. He is also the executive chairman of SimBioSys and was president and CEO of Oncocyte Corporation. Andrews’ appointment comes after TwinStrand co-founder Jesse Salk stepped down from the CEO role in October.
— Lex Schoner announced he was hired as design lead at Seattle-area enterprise software startup Magnify. He most recently served as growth design contractor at Khan Academy and was previously vice president of user experience, design and product at Seattle company Wisely Labs.
— Seattle-area aerospace company magniX announced it hired Tim Allen as VP of sales and marketing. He spent four years as aviation OEM sales manager at Garmin International and before that was commercial business manager at Astronics Ballard Technology.
— Tyler Singletary, COO of Seattle cloud production software platform Tagboard, is stepping down from his position after nearly seven years at the company. He previously worked as VP and general manager at Lithium Technologies.
— Kyle Mathews, CTO of web experiences platform Gatsby, wrote in a LinkedIn post that he is relocating to Seattle.
